These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Andrei Sukhanov, operating under the brand demoparty ("demoparty", "we", "us"). By using demoparty, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

demoparty is a service that helps music producers organize, analyze, and share their work. We offer two modes:

• Local Mode: Free to use, all data stays on your device
• Cloud Mode: Paid subscription with cloud storage and additional features

2. User Accounts

Local Mode

• No account registration required
• All features available without personal information
• Data remains exclusively on your device

Cloud Mode

• Valid email address required for registration
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• One account per person or entity
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use demoparty only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Upload copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Share content that violates intellectual property rights
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Upload malicious content or malware
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4. Content Ownership

Your Content

• You retain full ownership of all music and content you upload
• You grant us permission to store, process, and analyze your content to provide our services
• We never claim ownership of your creative work
• You can delete your content and account at any time

Public Sharing

• When you create public links, you choose what to share
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to share the content
• You can revoke public access at any time

5. Subscription and Payments

Cloud Mode Subscription

• Cloud Mode is offered on a recurring paid subscription basis
• Current pricing, billing interval, and applicable taxes are shown at checkout and billed in advance
• Payments are processed through Paddle
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee:

• 100% uptime or uninterrupted service
• Compatibility with all devices or configurations
• That the service will meet all your specific needs
• Error-free operation at all times

7. Desktop Agent

Our desktop agent application:

• Requires your explicit permission to access specified folders
• Only uploads files from folders you configure
• Can be disabled or uninstalled at any time
• Must be authorized through your demoparty account

8. Data and Privacy

• Your use of demoparty is also governed by our Privacy Policy
• We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your data
• You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@demoparty.app, subject to legal and backup retention requirements
• Data retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy
• We may use analytics services to improve our service
• You may limit analytics collection using browser settings or privacy tools

9. Termination

By You

• You may stop using demoparty at any time
• Cloud subscriptions can be cancelled through your account settings
• You can request account deletion at any time

By Us

We may terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Attempt to harm our systems or other users
• Fail to pay subscription fees (for Cloud Mode)
• Or any other reason deemed appropriate by us

10. Disclaimers

demoparty is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of data transmission

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, demoparty shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Issues arising from third-party services or content

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
